Well, They Selectively Edited My Response...

...to our old pal Katherine Letellier. You remember, the teacher who claimed quotes from the founders supported a collective rights theory of the Second Amendment, and then couldn't substantiate her position when I challenged her.

For reasons known only to the editors of The Free-Lance Star, they chose to omit the last two sentences, that is, the whole point of my letter:

Since she made a public claim, wouldn't it be appropriate if she provided some of those quotes that she says exist? Or issued a retraction if she cannot?

Why do you suppose they did that?
