Thousands of ethnic Pashtuns in eastern Afghanistan Friday marched in protest against a Taliban massacre of civilians last week.

Marchers demonstrated in Mihtarlam, the capital of Lahgman province, as well as the city of Jalalabad.

In other news Friday, the United Nations said Hollywood actress and U.N. Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie completed her first visit to Afghanistan on Thursday.
