The sheriff of a rural Texas county next to the U.S.-Mexico border has resigned after being indicted on federal drug charges.

Ah, Los Unicos! The border! Drug lords! Bloody violence!

If we could just close that damned American gun show loophole, we'd all be singing Chiapanecas and livin' la vida loca!

At least that's what all our great pals in government are telling us, and what incentive could they possibly have to steer us wrong...?
