Defense Secretary Robert Gates on Monday ordered his top department leaders to conduct a broad review to determine whether the military, National Guard and Reserve can adequately deal with domestic disasters and whether they have the training and equipment to defend the homeland.Because God forbid what is necessary for the security of a free state be considered.
I've expressed concerns before over the military crossing the line into domestic operations. I've been accused of being paranoid about this.
Perhaps. I don't feel paranoid, but then, do crazy people know they're nuts?
