Obama To Meet With Putin In Russia In September - White House -- Reuters
Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in September when he travels to Russia for the G20 summit, the White House said on Monday.
The United States is pressing Russia to use its influence to help reduce tensions with North Korea. Washington and Moscow are also at odds over the civil war in Syria.
The announcement of the September meeting came after Obama's national security adviser Tom Donilon held discussions with Putin and other leaders during a trip to Russia.

My Comment: It appears that U.S. National Security Adviser Tom Donilon .... visiting Moscow right now .... gave the Russians something that made them decide to have a Obama-Putin meeting at the G-8 this June .... and a more formal meeting in Moscow in September. It makes you wonder what the U.S. is offering. Missile defense? Nuclear arms reductions? I guess we will have to wait till September.
