The New York state Advisory Committee on Judicial Ethics has ruled that it is permissible for judges to pack a pistol beneath their robes while on the bench. But, of course, it is impermissible and unethical for a mere citizen to do the same. I mean, who doesn't know that officers of the court are better qualified and trained, safer, more temperate, wiser, smarter, more capable, morally superior to, and generally just better human beings than we rabble?
That's because we're not "The Only Ones."
