Scheiner has no idea when she became a text-walker, though she knows some state officials, including Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White, have spoken out in support of a new bill that would ban using a wireless device while crossing streets.Hey, it's not like the are any real or dangerous criminals for Illinois "Only Ones" to go after, and this seems a lot safer gig.
And it's not like people are capable of walking and chewing gum at the same time. If we don't legislate and gear permissible activities down to the most oblivious among us--ostensible free people incapable of safely and awarely crossing a street--how else will we continue propagating the least fit among us at the expense of everybody else?
And besides, we need all these rules to keep Jesse's relatives employed.
