Pakistan's Taliban might be getting stronger, wreaking havoc along the country's border with Afghanistan, but they are also growing wildly unpopular, inciting their own tribesmen to turn against them.
In the latest of a series of incidents, a lashkar, or private army comprised of Pakistani tribesmen, torched the houses of Taliban commanders in Bajaur, near the Afghan border, vowing to fight them until they are expelled, the Daily Times, a Pakistani newspaper, reports.

My Comment: The Taliban are not "pleasant folk" to have in your neighborhood. Drug production and trafficking, interfering into the personal lives of families to insure that they follow strict Islamic code, education for girls being limited, promoting murder against their opponents, promoting jihad in other countries ..... after a while you will overstay your presence. The Taliban and their Al Qaeda allies have overstayed their presence, and the first noises of rebellion is now coming from the tribesman in this region.
