My Comment: The lack of counterinsurgency techniques in many of the world's armies are well known .... Pakistan is not an exception. But what is infuriating is that the U.S. has developed (after a lot of bad experiences) a process that is now recognized to be one of the best.
But even with this education and a mentor (the U.S.) who is willing to help, the Pakistanis are reverting to an unprofessional and outdated way of doing things. In otherwords .... they know better.
I cannot say that I am surprised.
