The Great War Remembered 90 Years Later -- USA Today
The War to End All Wars ended on Nov. 11, 1918. The Veterans Administration has a history of the holiday now known as Veterans Day. So does the U.S. Army.

Harry Patch, 110, fought for the British in France. "It is not just an honor for me but for an entire generation," he said at a ceremony today, according to AFP. "It is important to remember the dead from both sides of the conflict. Irrespective of the uniforms we wore, we were all victims."
