Is The Military Evenly Split Over A Quick Iraq Pullout?

Desperate Media Now Making Up Iraq News From Whole Cloth -- Gateway Pundit
Yahoo is just making up headlines now: Analysis: U.S. military is evenly split over quick Iraq pullout.

But, when you read the article you find out this is not true.
Nowhere in the article does it prove that the military is "evenly" divided on leaving Iraq. There were no polls taken. Nothing.
The headline is absolutely untrue.

My Comment: Gateway Pundit is "right on the money" when he spotted this story. When I first read this story, I posted it on the top of my "Iraq War News Updates Post" for today. I did read the story very quickly, and found that it was only a few unnamed sources in the Pentagon who believed that U.S. forces could leave Iraq earlier. It was clear that the AP is being cavalier in their assertion that many are in favour of an early withdrawal .... exaggerating what is their own bias on this issue. I should have pointed it out as Gateway did.

Anyway .... it is posted here and now, and kudos to Gateway Pundit for spotting it.
