My Comment: The Europeans love to talk the talk .... but they will never walk the walk. Anti-terrorism laws, strict immigration laws, and the imprisoning of dangerous men is a hot potato issue in Europe. The mass majority of the public is for it, but the political class has different ideas.

American efforts to put some rational in this discussion will be a waste of time. Europe's leaders want to go a European way .... and what the U.S. may propose will be discounted simply because of where it is coming from.
