House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was notified that intelligence agents had eavesdropped on Rep. Jane Harman’s conversations three years ago.
This means the Speaker knew about the wiretap when she decided to stop Harman from becoming chairwoman of the House Intelligence Committee.
It also blunts Harman’s (D-Calif.) allegation that her eavesdroppers acted improperly.

My Comment: What is disturbing about this report .... is the clear politicking that occurs by members of Congress for Committee Chairmanships. You would think that the best person would be chosen .... but this is clearly not the case.
Congresswomen Harman clearly wanted this post .... considering the allegations that are being leveled at her, one can consider us to be lucky that she was not chosen.
