Barack Obama is to revive the fiercely-disputed Bush-era trial system of terror suspects which he denounced in 2006 as 'flawed'.
The U.S. president suspended the tribunals within hours of taking office in January, ordering a review of the process of prosecuting suspected terrorists.
But the military trials will begin again in four months with certain new legal protections for the detainees.
The news came within hours of the emergence of fresh pictures showing the alleged abuse of Iraqi prisoners.
It is thought that the images may be among more than 2,000 that Mr Obama is trying to prevent from being published.

My Comment: I was feeling good when I woke up this morning .... but when I checked the English websites, I saw the above picture. I was debating to publish it or not in this blog .... but with the Drudge Report now reporting on it, and numerous blogs getting involved .... the cat is now out of the bag.
This is very bad .... for I know that we are better than this.
