My Comment: One could have easily seen this freight train coming down the tracks a long time ago. By asserting that interrogation techniques were not effective, President Obama and many in the Democrat Party have now exposed themselves to scrutiny on this issue. The fact that they have refused former Vice President Cheney's request to declassify the information on this topic also adds to the charge that the Administration is being selective on what they decide to release to the public or not .... in otherwords .... if it fits administration policy information is released .... if it does not .... information is kept classified.

The Republican decision to go public only poisons this discussion further. Any possibility for reconciliation on this topic is now impossible.
