Current Troop Levels And Deaths In Afghanistan -- Yahoo News/AP

Current troop levels and deaths since 2001 among leading members of the NATO-led force and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan:

UNITED STATES — About 59,000 soldiers, at least 674 died in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan as a result of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan in late 2001, according to the Defense Department.

BRITAIN — About 9,000 soldiers, 188 dead.

CANADA — About 2,500, 125 dead.

FRANCE — 2,900 soldiers, 27 dead.

ITALY — 2,800 soldiers, 14 dead.

GERMANY — About 4,000 soldiers, 35 dead.

NETHERLANDS — 1,650 soldiers, 19 dead.

DENMARK — 700 soldiers, 24 dead.
