SEOUL, South Korea – North Korea welcomed former President Bill Clinton to Pyongyang with flowers and hearty handshakes Tuesday as he arrived in the communist nation on a surprise mission to bring home two jailed American journalists.
Clinton landed in the North Korean capital in an unmarked jet. On arrival he shook hands with Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye Kwan and the deputy speaker of parliament. Footage from television news agency APTN showed Clinton bowing and smiling as a young girl presented him with flowers.

My Comment: Grovel ... grovel .... grovel. If former President Clinton grovels enough .... maybe .... just maybe .... they will release these two journalists.
Personality .... when I read last night that Seoul was resuming humanitarian aid to N.Korea .... that was my green light to believe that these journalists and the South Korean fishermen who were seized last week may be released in the near future.
As to the more pressing issue of North Korean nuclear proliferation .... this issue (if brought up by former President Clinton) will be treated politely by the North Koreans, and then brushed aside.
