My Comment: I was about to have this as a lead story on a collection of stories on the civil war in Pakistan .... but I found that its content was so troubling, I had to make it a post by itself with a commentary.

This news represents what is so wrong in Pakistan today .... and has been so wrong with our own policy in working with them. I find it reprehensible that the monies and weapons that we give to Pakistan .... yes give .... will now be used directly and/or indirectly against our own soldiers and allies in Afghanistan.

But this is nothing new. For years I have been reading articles that have always illustrated the "two faced" policy of Pakistan .... and on how we are always repeating the same mistakes over and over again.

They give us what we want .... but then pursue actions on the side that are completely contrary to what we are trying to succeed.

The Long War Journal has just illustrated another example of this duplicitous nature.
