India Meets With China on Settling Disputes -- Wall Street Journal
NEW DELHI -- The prime ministers of India and China said they would seek to build trust between their two countries, after recent spats over trade, visas and an ill-defined border underscored growing frictions between the two Asian giants.
At a meeting Saturday in Thailand, on the sidelines of a summit of Asian leaders, India's Manmohan Singh and China's Wen Jiabao agreed to continue their talks on settling the disputed territory, the Chinese government-backed Xinhua News Agency reported.
