Mullen Sees "Destabilizing" Consequences From Iran Attack -- Global Security Newswire
A military attack against Iran would be "very, very destabilizing" for the surrounding region, Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Michael Mullen said yesterday (see GSN, Jan. 7).
The United States and Israel have refused to rule out military action against Iran's nuclear program, which they suspect is geared toward nuclear weapons development. Tehran has insisted its atomic ambitions are strictly peaceful.

My Comment: I concur with his assessment 100%. Unfortunately .... Israel and Iran are two countries that have agendas that are different from ours, and have the potential to drag us into a conflict that we may not want or desire.
