Somalia Mosque Explosions Kill At Least 35 -- CNNMogadishu, Somalia (CNN) -- Twin explosions at a mosque in Somalia's capital on Saturday killed at least 35 people and wounded many more, the African Union's peacekeeping force in the country said.
The mosque is in the heart of Mogadishu's Bakara Market, a stronghold of Al-Shabaab, the militant group waging a war against the government in an effort to implement a stricter form of Islamic law.
