Update: Report: Obama gave Erdogan ultimatum -- Jerusalem Post

My Comment: President Obama's outreach to the Muslim world is not working out, and the souring of our relationship with Turkey is a symptom of what is happening. But in all fairness to President Obama, this is not his fault. Islamic militancy fueled by Turkish nationalism and a return to the heyday when Turkey was the dominant power in the Middle East .... this is what is helping to sour the U.S. - Turkey relationship.

Will Turkey listen to the U.S. ultimatum .... probably not. U.S. public support is very low in the country, and any political party that is seen as being 'anti-U.S.' will only benefit them in the polls.
