The Rise of Authoritarianism and How US Law Enforcement Can Take a Stand for Freedom [More]I know there have been hard feelings vented at Oath Keepers because they don't do what some of their critics expect of them.
I would simply point out that this group has a very specific and limited mission. Getting cops and military to think about their oath and what it means is a tremendously important first step. Get their toes in the pool first...
I know that seems elemental, but it is what it is, and we work with what we've got.
It's up to us to then encourage them--as individuals--into more turbulent waters. If Oath Keepers tries to do that, it will discourage their recruitment targets from taking a closer look. That makes no sense.
Nor does chasing away people who are coming toward the light but may not have brought it into focus yet.
We can't be everything to everybody. Niches and specific objectives are also important.
I continue to support my friend Stewart and his mission. If that me

I continue to support my friend Stewart and his mission. If that means people will then dismiss me, so be it. If I were doing this for mass approval, I'd have picked a different topic.
