Obama: U.S. Can't Impose Solution To India-Pakistan Problems -- USA Today
Good morning from The Oval. President Obama is in India, where today he pledged to help his host country resolve its long-running dispute with Pakistan, though he added that the United States "cannot impose a solution to these problems."
"We are happy to play any role that the parties think is appropriate in reducing these tensions," Obama said at a news conference with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. He said reducing long-running tensions between Indian and Pakistan is the best interests of both nations.
