My Comment: I cannot say that I am surprised .... reporters and diplomatic/intelligence/security officials probably drink at the same watering holes and eat at the same restaurants in places like Afghanistan, Iraq, and who knows where else. Stories, experiences, viewpoints and agendas .... they all probably cross each other more than what some in the media may admit. As to my own viewpoint .... I say so what. If a story is a good one it will be received well, even though the background of those who are pushing it are questionable.
