Having won the fight against DADT, Richard Cohen leads the media elites calling for the heads of the vanquished:
But we know also that (the risks of eliminating DADT) can be managed – contained, limited. It takes education. It takes training. It takes leadership. This is what concerns me about Amos. His views are on the record. He sees gays as somewhat out of control, possibly holding hands in combat, sneaking into one another’s bunks at night, being distracted just as the enemy is coming over the hill. Not only is this silly and based on an ignorant misconception of who most gays are, but it can be dealt with.

My Comment: After what happened to General McChrystal .... the message became crystal clear to everyone in the arm forces .... be careful with what you say.
Richard Cohen's comments reflects the opinion of many in this administration .... and yes .... I will not be surprised if there will eventually be consequences and payback to those who were outspoken in their support of DADT.
