Tunisian Protesters Turn On Officials Who Helped Ben Ali Relatives Flee -- The Telegraph
Tunisian protesters turned their anger on officials widely suspected of helping relatives of the former president flee the country.
It came after a video emerged online showing one of his nephews preparing to fly out from a military base.
Imed Trabelsi was widely reported to have been seized by an angry mob and fatally stabbed on Sunday but there has been no confirmation of his death. The video posted on his Facebook page showed Mr Trabelsi negotiating to charter a private jet in Italian at Tunis airbase.
Mr Trabelsi was a nephew of former first lady Leila Ben Ali and a notorious member of a mafia-like business clan that had a stranglehold on the Tunisian economy.
