Gaddafi Regime Braced For Wave Of Rebellions After Friday Prayers As Supplies Run Low In Rebel Cities -- The Daily Mail

Fighters loyal to Colonel Gaddafi were bracing themselves for clashes in the capital Tripoli today after a 'call to arms' by rebels urging residents to protest after Friday prayers.

The Gaddafi regime has this week launched brutal airtsirkes and ground attacks on rebel held cities across Libya in a desperate bid to regain power.

But so far the dictator's internationally condemned violence has failed to quell the popular rebellion and the two sides have reached a civil war stalemate.

The opposition has now called for protesters to march out of mosques after noon prayers in demonstrations demanding Gaddafi's removal.
