CIA To Show Bin Laden Pics To US Lawmakers -- News.com.au

THE CIA will show photographs of Osama bin Laden's body to select US lawmakers, though they must travel to the agency's headquarters to see the images.

The White House said last week that it would not release graphic images of bin Laden's corpse, with President Barack Obama telling CBS there was no reason to "spike the football".

"That's not who we are. We don't trot out this stuff as trophies," Mr Obama said in a 60 Minutes interview that aired on Monday.

My Comment: I call this "buying one's silence" .... and by doing this the White House will be silencing their political critics.
