Syrian Video Blogger Reportedly Killed in Homs as Shelling Continues -- New York Times

A Syrian video blogger whose images of the fierce military assault in the city of Homs were broadcast around the world in recent weeks was killed on Tuesday, fellow activists said.

The blogger, who chronicled the uprising in Baba Amr, a district of Homs that slipped from government control last year, was identified as Rami al-Sayed by the Web site Bambuser, which hosted streams of live video from his camera on Tuesday, shortly before his death.

My Comment: Most of the videos on the siege of Homs that are on You Tube were posted by Rami al-Sayed. He went where no other journalist would go .... and he did what he did not for money or fame, but because he felt that someone had to document and show to the world what was happening in Homs .... and for that he paid the ultimate price early today.
