Flash in the Pan

'Boredom' proves to be trigger for 'flash mobs' [More]

A generality I've observed is people who are bored are boring. Interesting and engaging people are interested and engaged.  Frustrated dullards of the lowest order find refuge in the mob, and an unearned self-image in words like "progressive."
