CIA Director Petraeus Resigns Citing Extramarital Affair, Will Not Testify On Benghazi Attack In Libya -- al.com
Central Intelligence Agency director David Petraeus met with President Barack Obama at the White House on Thursday to resign after leading the agency for nearly 14 months, says Reuters. Petraeus said after 37 years of marriage he "showed extremely poor judgement by engaging in an extramarital affair," which he deemed "unacceptable," says Reuters. Petraeus had an affair with his reserve Army officer and biographer Paula Broadwell says Yahoo News, citing U.S. officials.

My Comment: He cannot escape from this one. A U.S. Ambassador and three other Americans were murdered in Benghazi, with two of the Americans being under contract to what is assumed to be a CIA front. Questions need to be answered, and having acting CIA Director Michael Morrell replace him is not going to cut it.
