SEOUL -- North Korea on Monday detailed its previously announced plan to close the border with South Korea, saying it will cut off a tourism project and a seldom-used train service on Dec. 1 but leave open an industrial park where South Korean companies employ more than 30,000 North Koreans.
North Korea two weeks ago announced the border closing to express its anger at South Korea's decision earlier this year to link further economic investments in the North to progress in nuclear disarmament there.
