GENEVA: Mediators made a fresh attempt Wednesday at getting fractious talks going between Russia and Georgia to resolve security and refugee issues left over from the conflict in South Ossetia.
Eight parties met behind closed doors at the U.N.'s European headquarters in Geneva to build on a first attempt at negotiations that broke down last month after the sides failed to even agree on the format of the talks.
