UN Envoy, Angola Discuss Establishment Of Ceasefire Zone In DRC

LUANDA, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Visiting UN Special Envoy Olusegun Obasanjo said here on Friday the United Nations plans to establish a ceasefire zone in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to restore peace in the central African country.

Former Nigerian President Obasanjo told reporters after one-hour meeting with Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos that they both analyzed the possibility to establish a ceasefire zone in the DRC which "depends much on the will of the main fighters" and the need to open humanitarian corridors.

My Comment: Everyone is talking .... but no one is talking to the rebels. This ceasefire is not going to hold.
