My Comment: On a day when 4 ships and 60 hostages were hijacked by these thugs .... something definitely needs to be done. Personally, I believe that by permitting sidearms on the ships coupled with targeted strikes against pirate lairs and command centers will go a long way to limit the piracy problem. Stopping the payment of ransoms will also assist in rubbing out this problem.
