Iran's NuclearPprogram -- Washington TimesIran has dramatically increased the amount of low-enriched uranium produced by its growing number of centrifuges that are part of its nuclear fuel production system.
According to a CIA report to Congress, "During the reporting period, Iran continued to expand its nuclear infrastructure and continued uranium enrichment and activities related to its heavy water research reactor, despite multiple United Nations Security Council Resolutions since late 2006 calling for the suspension of those activities."

My Comment: This report was released almost two months ago, but it is only now that the contents are becoming known to the public. This report is damning in a number of ways .... but more importantly it puts the spotlight on (failed) U.S. attempts to negotiate directly with Iran to stop its nuclear enrichment program.
Instead of bashing the CIA on the head over torture memos and threaten to disbar the three lawyers who wrote up the torture memos .... Iran's nuclear program and its advances should be the focus of attention from our media and our politicians. But nooooo .... our focus is elsewhere.
