The Lockerbie bomber was cheered by visiting African MPs as he made his first public appearance since receiving a hero's welcome on his return to Libya.
Abdelbaset al-Megrahi sat in a wheelchair, wearing a mask, and attacked to a drip, as he was photographed with African parliamentary deputies on Wednesday in an apparent public show of support.
Megrahi, the only person to be convicted of the blowing up of Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, killing 270 people, is suffering from terminal prostate cancer. Scottish authorities released him last month on "compassionate grounds" despite US objections.
