Frontline has posted its unaired interview with Gen. McChrystal, which was conducted Aug. 1. In it, he seems to believe that the president is solidly behind his counterinsurgency strategy:

And I think that the fully resourced part that we were going to provide enough forces to do what we felt we had to do was a major change.
My Comment: What a difference 2 months makes. From having the full endorsement of the President to a counterinsurgency strategy .... to being relegated by the National Security Adviser as a man with an opinion.
