From You Tube: Leaked White House plans to keep only a minimal American military footprint in Afghanistan after 2014 to conduct training and counter-terrorism operations do not reflect military realities. A force of 6,000 troops or so will be unable either to support the Afghan military or to conduct counter-terrorism operations for geographic, technical, and logistical reasons.

My Comment: The AEI video graphically demonstrates what will happen with a minimal US presence (and minimal air support) in the region. Adopting the zero option would then mean that drone strikes will be off the table.
