Republicans block Halligan confirmation

We learn that "all 53 members of the Democratic caucus" voted to end debate, including the supposedly "pro-gun Democrats."  Joining them was Alaska Republican Lisa Murkowski.  Republican Orrin Hatch did not join the filibuster and voted "Present." [More]
